Your Role

About the Role

With a community of 50 product managers and designers (and growing!), we are looking for a self-starting, data literate product person to join our team.

You'll be part of the team responsible for shaping our acquisition strategy and our marketing effectiveness. Data powers everything we do at ASOS and we're looking for a Product Manager who can leverage this and help us on our journey to building lasting first impressions and driving growth.

Youll have access to community events, knowledge shares and meet-ups, all to support you in your ASOS journey and ensure you can be the very best version of yourself.

What Youll be Doing

  • Work closely with the Head of Product and Acquisition Product Managers to help define and drive the strategy for how we acquire new customers, set a brilliant first impression and drive marketing effectiveness.
  • Use a combination of conviction, data, competitor, and customer research to identify opportunity areas and build your roadmap.
  • Champion a test and learn approachto develop products andfeatures, all with clear hypotheses and success metrics.
  • Share learnings, failures and what not to design and build as a result of your tests.
  • Guide, gather and define requirements.
  • Use you brilliant stakeholder management skills to work our Digital Marketing and Paid Media teams to manage expectations as to what is actually possible with our data estate.
  • Be able to technically understand what the engineers are raising as issues/risks/blockers - particularly important when working with a 3rd parties who and Solution Architects
  • Work on the backend and also best practices for dashboard design, e.g. wire framing dashboards
  • Create and embrace cross-functional working with our engineering teams, covering everything from theproductstrategy to the detail of a user story.
  • Engage with other product areas to ensure consistency and continuity across our channels and a joined up end to end experience.

Who Wed Like to Meet

  • The desire to drive both delivery and discovery processes.
  • Acurious mind thatenablesyouto self-learn about newcustomer problem areas or opportunities.
  • Have previous experience working on a range of cloud warehouses (AWS, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Azure), plus front end dashboarding tools (PowerBI, Tableau and Qliksense).
  • A strong belief in the role and value of data,andare not afraid to test and learn, using these feedback loops to continuously improve the product.
  • A superpower that enables you to combine active listening with being inquisitive with people across engineering,customer care, retail, marketing,and finance.
  • Experience collaborating with product design, engineering teams, data teams, and insights (and beyond!) to successfully get your products to market.
  • Experience working with Marketing teams on data attribution and creating single views of performance marketing metrics
  • A skill oftaking people on a journey as we instil a product mindset acrossASOS.

Our HQ in Camden was once a cigarette factory – now, the iconic Art Deco building has been completely renovated with spacious office areas, ASOS Studios (where we shoot all our products), beauty rooms and a free gym. There’s also a subsidised canteen and café.
